I see you
I see you.
I notice the pain in your eyes
and the falter in your smile.
I see how you shy away from others
and close in on yourself.
The tears behind your eyes,
I know they’re there;
Your mask,
it’s slowly crumbling away
and I see the pain you’re facing.
I see you,
see through you
and I know you’re hurting.
You don’t have to feel invisible,
not anymore,
because I see you.
